A car carrying the name BJP District Vice President hit a bike rider in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. In this accident the bike rider died on the spot. The people present at the spot caught the car driver and beat him badly and then called the police and handed him over. The police have taken the accused car driver into custody and conducted the Panchnama of the dead body. It is being told that the accused car driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. This accident took place at IVRI bridge in Izzat Nagar police station area.
According to the police, the bike rider has been identified as 48-year-old Ghasiram, resident of Road No. 1 Ramnagar Colony of Izzatnagar police station area. He was an employee at the hospital located on Stadium Road. At the time of the accident, he was going to his duty riding a bike. As soon as he reached IVRI bridge with his bike, a speeding car marked BJP District Vice President hit him from behind.
Bike rider falls off bridge
The collision was so strong that Ghasiram jumped from the bike and fell under the bridge. In this accident Ghasiram died on the spot. According to the police, the intensity of this collision can be gauged from the fact that the front part of the car was badly damaged in the accident. The bike was out of order. The people present at the spot ran and caught the car driver, beat him badly and handed him over to the police.
The son of the deceased is in the army
The police reached the spot and identified the body of the bike rider and got the Panchnama done. Deceased Ghasiram has a son and daughter. His son is in the army and is currently posted in Kashmir. The accused car driver has been identified as Arun Gangwar, a resident of Gandhipuram. According to the police, the accused was drunk. Chicken and beer bottle were found in his car. On the complaint of Ghasiram’s wife, the police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections. According to Izzatnagar Inspector Jai Shankar, the accused has been detained. Today he will be presented in the court.
