On August 14, on the birth anniversary of Veer Durgadas Rathore, a grand convention of Rathore Kshatriya Samaj, bike rally and Bhoomi Pujan will be held in Bilaspur. Public representatives were invited.
Bilaspur. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Veer Shiromani Durgadas Rathore, a huge social convention of Rathore Kshatriya Samaj will be organized in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh on 14th August. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people of the society regarding this event and preparations for it are going on at a fast pace. To make the grand conference a success, a high level delegation of the society met the prominent public representatives of the area and invited them to attend the program as chief guests and special guests.

The delegation led by Chhattisgarh Provincial Rathore Kshatriya Sabha Executive President Narendra Rathore and Rathore Kshatriya Social Welfare Committee, District Bilaspur (Rural Unit) President Dhananjay Singh Rathore met Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, former Health Minister Dr. Krishnamurthy Bandhi and Takhatpur MLA Dharamjit Singh. The delegation urged all the public representatives to participate in the program and enhance the dignity of the event.

Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu recalled the unparalleled courage, bravery and patriotism of Veer Durgadas Rathore and described him as one of the great warriors of India. He said that protecting Marwar in the era of Aurangzeb’s expansionist policies and taking infant Ajit Singh to a safe place is an example of Veer Durgadas’ extraordinary bravery and devotion to duty. He also appreciated the organizational work of the society and its efforts for social upliftment and assured all possible cooperation.
Dr. Krishnamurthy Bandhi appreciated the work of the society
Former Health Minister Dr. Krishnamurthy Bandhi praised the social work being done by Rathore Samaj in Bilaspur district and extended best wishes for the success of the upcoming Mahasammelan. He said that national hero Durgadas Rathore is a symbol of renunciation, sacrifice and devotion to God. His life is still a source of inspiration for the society and the country.

Takhatpur MLA Dharamjeet Singh, while meeting the delegation cordially, said that Rathore Kshatriya community is their own society and it is like a second home for them. He said that the bravery story of brave Durgadas Rathore will continue to inspire dedication and patriotism towards the motherland to the coming generations.
Many programs like bike rally, grand conference and Bhumi Pujan on 14th August
Dhananjay Singh Rathore, President of Rathore Kshatriya Samaj Kalyan Samiti (Rural Unit) told the media that August 14 will prove to be a historic day for Bilaspur. He told that a grand bike rally will be taken out on this occasion. A huge social gathering will be organized along with this. Bhoomipujan will also be performed for the meeting hall sanctioned from the MP fund in the social building complex located at Urja Park, Bilaspur. Apart from this, Bhoomi Pujan of the proposed building to be constructed with MP funds in Nikhilashram run by Lokesh Rathore will also be a major attraction of the program.
Appeal to the people of the society to participate in maximum numbers
Provincial Executive President Narendra Rathore said that organizing the grand conference, bike rally and Bhoomi Pujan of development works on the same day is a matter of pride for the entire Rathore Kshatriya community of Chhattisgarh. He appealed to the community members from across the state to participate in the program in large numbers and make it historic.
