A six-year-old girl died in an encounter with Naxalites and Bijapur police in Chhattisgarh. The girl’s mother was also shot in the hand. Besides, two DRG soldiers also got injured by bullets in the encounter. As soon as information was received about the death of the girl during the encounter, Bijapur ASP reached the spot with heavy police force. He hurriedly admitted the injured mother of the deceased girl to the hospital for treatment. Some Naxalites have also been injured in the encounter, including Bhairamgarh Area Committee Secretary Chandranna and some others. At present the police is running a search operation in the area.
