The state level Youth Festival 2024 organized in Lakhisarai concluded on Monday. In this two-day event, youth from 38 districts of Bihar displayed their art and culture. This program made the district the center of discussion in the entire state. Actually, this program was inaugurated by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and Suryagarha MLA Prahlad Yadav.
During this ceremony, Lakhisarai’s Vidyapeeth Art team welcomed the people with their presentations. Also, Secretary of Art-Culture Department Daya Nidhan Pandey congratulated the youth and thanked the district administration for the success of the event. At the conclusion of the Youth Utsav, a prize distribution program was organized at Gandhi Maidan.

The Deputy CM honored the participants who secured first, second and third positions in the competitions by giving them medals. In competitions, youth showed their skills in folk singing, story writing, sculpture, science exhibition, and many other genres.

During this, Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha said in his address that concrete steps are being taken to promote art and culture in Bihar. He announced to build Atal Kala Bhawan in all the districts and provide training at school level. Whereas MLA Prahlad Yadav told the importance of art and culture in the new generation.

In the competitions, Priya Ranjan Kumari (Lakhisarai) stood first in solo folk dance, while Samrat Sameer of Patna won in story writing. Ankita Kumari of Kaimur got first place in painting. Anand Kumar Singh of Saran became the winner in the sculpture competition in the programme. Also, Ujjwal Kumar of Arwal district and his group secured first place in the science exhibition. This program gave a platform to the talent of many youth of Bihar and the cultural richness of the state, making the event memorable.
