A surprising case has come to light from Samastipur district of Bihar. A female constable committed suicide in the police line. The female constable was posted in the Scheduled Caste-Tribe police station. There was a stir in the police department after the information about the suicide of a female constable. Police have sent the body of the female constable for post-mortem. The FSL team is busy collecting evidence for investigation.
According to the information, the name of the female constable was Vandana Kumari who was a resident of Madhepura. The woman Sipari was posted in the Scheduled Caste-Tribe police station for CC training. There was a stir in the police department after the death of the female constable. The female constable committed suicide by hanging herself in the police line. The female constable had gone to the bathroom to take a bath but her body was found hanging.

The woman constable lived with another woman constable in the police line in Dudhpura of Mofussil police station. Female constable committed suicide by hanging herself in the bathroom. The second female constable told that she had gone to the bathroom to take bath and when we reached the bathroom, she was hanging from the dupatta tied to the window. Seeing this the ground slipped from beneath our feet.
The female constable was under stress
We informed this to other women constables. After which there was chaos. After getting information about the incident, other police officers arrived and took information about the incident. Officials have ordered an investigation into the matter. Police are interrogating other women constables.
While giving information about the incident, ASP Sanjay Kumar Pandey said that the matter is being investigated. But prima facie this case appears to be a case of suicide. Another female constable, who lived with the deceased female constable, told that she was under stress for some days.
