Former ward member cum vegetable businessman Kushar Sahni was kidnapped and murdered from Laskaripur village of Kanti in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. He was murdered by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon. Due to a land dispute, Shankar Sahni, a resident of Fatehpur Kalwari village, had prepared the complete planning of the murder. Police revealed the murder case. Police have arrested mastermind Shankar Sahni, his son Ranjit Kumar and Rakesh Kumar Sahni.
The police have arrested all three accused including the mastermind. Police have recovered the clothes and tempo of the deceased. The body of Kushar Sahni was recovered from Budhi Gandak river near Mushari police station. On the basis of manual and technical input, the police team arrested the three accused including the mastermind of the murder.
Called on the pretext of getting Parwal seeds
On October 23, Kusheshwar was called and taken away from home on the pretext of getting Parwal seeds. Accused Shankar strangulated Kusheshwar Sahni in his house. After that his intestines were taken out by attacking him with a sharp weapon, a axe. After murder, the body was thrown into the river from Calvary Ghat. On October 25, the body was found in Budhi Gandak at Rajwada Ghat.
Murder in land dispute
During police interrogation, Shankar told that he conspired to murder Kushahar over a land dispute. On the pretext of showing Parwal a string, Rakesh took him in an auto and reached Kalwari. Kushar was brought to Shankar’s house where he was murdered. Rural SP Vidya Sagar said that the police of Kanti police station had received information on October 23 that Kushahar Sahni village had been kidnapped from Laskaripur village. While registering FIR in the case, a special team was formed under the leadership of DSP West Abhishek Anand and SHO Sudhakar Pandey.
The team started the investigation of Kushahar Sahni on the basis of manual and technical inputs. Meanwhile, the police got information that there was a dispute going on regarding the land in Fatehpur Kalwari of the deceased Kushar Sahni. Kushar Sahni’s auto has been recovered near him.
When it was investigated, it was found that Rakesh Sahni, a resident of Madhopur Mithansarai, had called Kushar Sahni on the pretext of getting Parwal seeds and took him away. Accused Shankar Sahni killed Kushar Sahni in his house by strangulating her throat and stabbing her in the right ribcage with a sharp ax.

Ranjeet attacked him with a sharp weapon and removed his intestines. Then, his body was thrown into the river from Calvary Ghat. After recovering the auto, the police arrested the named accused Rakesh Sahni who had called him from home. After interrogating him, the dog squad team was called.
The dog search team stopped 150 meters away from the spot. A blood stain was found there. That was Shankar Sahni’s house. On the basis of this, the police arrested Shankar Sahni and his son Ranjit Kumar. When Shankar Sahni was interrogated, he told that there was a dispute going on with Kushahr Sahni over about two katha of land.
He was also getting a house constructed on that land, that is why he called Kushar Sahni from home through his laborer Rakesh Kumar Sahni. He took him to a deserted place near his house and killed him by strangulating him and stabbing him with a sharp weapon.
