Food and Consumer Protection Minister of Bihar Government, Lecy Singh has been injured. She had reached the district school in Purnia this morning for inspection, where she slipped from the stairs. He suffered injuries on his hands, legs and head. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Purnia.
A meeting of the twenty-point committee was going to be held in the district, in which Purnia in-charge minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary had come to participate. Before the meeting, all the MLAs and ministers had come to inspect the upgrading class located at the district school. While returning after inspection, Minister Lacey Singh slipped from the stairs. Due to falling on his head, his right wrist and elbow were injured.

According to doctors, Minister Lacey Singh’s hand was fractured due to the fall. He is currently kept in ICU. After the incident, Purnia District Magistrate Kundan Kumar and Minister in-charge Vijay Chaudhary reached the hospital and met him and inquired about his well being.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also inquired about the well being of Minister Lacey Singh over phone. Information about how and when the incident happened was also given to the Chief Minister. At the same time, after the incident, his supporters have also started reaching the hospital to know about his well being.

Lacey Singh is an MLA from Dhamdaha assembly constituency of Purnia district of Bihar and is the Minister of Food and Consumer Protection in the Government of Bihar.
