Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 20 premiered on September 6 with 17 contestants entering the house. The premiere episode introduced the season’s new theme and nominated Kanika Mann as the first taskmaster with special powers. At the beginning of the show, Bigg Boss said that action and drama would begin on the first day itself. The Day 1 promo of Bigg Boss 20 proved it. After the premiere ended, the promo revealed that Mahhi Vij and Isha Rikhi might not get along well on the show.
Mahhi Vij and Isha Rikhi to be at loggerheads?
The video started with the contestants in the bathroom area. They were arranging their luggage. When Mahhi received her luggage, she told Aman Gandhi to help her. Aman did not like the way she spoke to him. He asked her to say ‘please’, to which Mahhi refused. Later, she asked Isha whether she could make tea. Mahhi said, “Ladki hai, chai banani toh aati hogi.” Next, she was seated in the garden area when she saw Arishfa Khan relaxing. She instructed her to go to the kitchen. Arishfa said she couldn’t make tea.
In Mahhi’s absence, Isha complained to other housemates that she had been giving orders to make tea. She wondered whether Mahhi would ask her co-contestants to wash her dirty undergarments on the show. Arishfa told Aman that she is getting ‘off’ vibes from Mahhi.
Who is Mahhi Vij?
Mahhi Vij is a renowned television actress. She became a household name as Nakusha in Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors TV. Before Bigg Boss 20, she had participated in season 4 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In 2012, she and her ex-husband Jay Bhanushali were contestants in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 and won the trophy. Mahhi played Nandini Shekhawat in Balika Vadhu. After a 9-year-long hiatus, she returned to acting with Seher – Hone Ko Hai in December 2025. She left the show in May this year.
Mahhi announced her separation from Jay in January this year. They were married for 14 years and are co-parenting their daughter, Tara, who was born in 2019.
Who is Isha Rikhi?
Isha has been a prominent name in the Punjabi film industry. She made her Bollywood debut with Nawabzaade, produced by Remo D’Souza, which released in 2018. In Punjabi cinema, Rikhi shot to fame with films such as Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De and Happy Go Lucky. She married rapper Badshah in March 2026, and five months later, on August 31, they announced their separation.
