A bloody game has been played over a land dispute in the native village of Bollywood veteran and National Film Award winning actor Pankaj Tripathi. According to information received from the police, on Sunday, a minor dispute took such a terrible turn that the actor’s real brother Vijendranath Tiwari was fatally attacked with sticks and rods. That dreadful scene of midnight: The chessboard of attack laid in the native village
This entire incident took place in Pankaj Tripathi’s native village Belsand located in Barauli town of Gopalganj district. According to eyewitnesses and police sources, an altercation started between the two parties on Sunday over an old land related matter. Within no time the dispute escalated so much that people from the opposing side came armed with sticks and threatened. The attackers started attacking Vijendranath Tiwari. Due to this fierce attack of sticks, he bled and fell on the ground. After committing the crime the attackers fled from the spot. Amidst the screams in the village, the local people and family members hurriedly took care of him.
Battle of life and death in hospital: Referred to Patna
Soon after the attack, Vijendranath Tiwari was admitted to ‘Gopalganj Model Hospital’ in a critical condition late at night. Initial examination by doctors found signs of serious injuries on his body. According to hospital sources, in view of his critical condition and internal injuries, after first aid, the doctors immediately referred him to the capital Patna for better and higher level treatment. At present, a special team of doctors is monitoring him in a hospital in Patna, where he is fighting for his life.

Police action at midnight: One accused arrested, but suspense still remains

Gopalganj SP Vinay Tiwari told the media that the police took prompt action and arrested one of the main accused. The Police Captain has clarified that the accused has been caught to maintain law and order, but as soon as a formal written complaint is received from the family, the police will take the strictest legal action against every criminal behind this bloody game.
