Congress on Sunday appointed Qazi Nizamuddin in-charge of Congress’s Delhi unit in place of Deepak Babaria. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has also constituted a screening committee for the assembly elections to be held in Delhi, of which S Meenakshi Natarajan will be the chairperson while Imran Masood and Pradeep Narwal have been made members of this committee.
Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed Nizamuddin in-charge of the Delhi unit of Congress with immediate effect. Delhi Assembly elections are expected to be held in February next year.
