How much did jet fuel become cheaper in January?
According to the website of IOCL, there has been a decline of about 4 percent i.e. Rs 4,162.5 per kiloliter in the price of jet fuel in the country’s capital Delhi. After which the price of jet fuel in Delhi has come down to Rs 1,01,993.17 per kilolitre. At the same time, the price of jet fuel in Kolkata is Rs 1,10,962.83 per kiloliter, in Mumbai it is Rs 95,372.43 per kiloliter and in Chennai the price of jet fuel is Rs 1,06,042.99 per kiloliter.
Big decline in three months
On the other hand, there has been a big decline in the price of jet fuel in three months. The last increase in the price of jet fuel was seen in the month of October and the price of jet fuel in Delhi had come down to Rs 1,18,199.17. In the month of November, a decline of 5.79 percent i.e. Rs 6,854.25 was seen and the price came down to Rs 1,11,344.92. After that, in the month of December also, the price of jet fuel in Delhi saw a decline of 4.66 percent i.e. Rs 5,189.25 per kiloliter and the price came down to Rs 1,06,155.67 per kiloliter. This means that in three months the price of jet fuel has seen a decline of about 14 percent i.e. Rs 16,206 per kilolitre.
