Balram Krishi Mahotsav will be held in all the districts in Madhya Pradesh till 13th November. CM Mohan Yadav said that farmers will get the benefit of new technology, adequate electricity and many schemes to increase income.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the Balram Krishi Mahotsav organized in Khargone through virtual medium from Datia district on July 25. During this, he said that the welfare of farmers is the first priority for the state government. With this thinking, many big programs are being run in the entire state under Farmer Welfare Year-2026, so that farmers can get new technology, better farming and more income opportunities.

Many programs are going on for farmers in the Farmer Welfare Year

The Chief Minister said that in the first phase of Farmer Welfare Year-2026, several workshops were organized to provide information to farmers about modern farming and new agricultural equipment. Now in the second phase, Balram Krishi Mahotsav is being organized across the state. He told that this campaign was started from Indore on 15th July. After this, agricultural festival was also organized in Alirajpur on 23rd July. Now this campaign is moving forward continuously.

Irrigation increased, farmers are getting adequate electricity

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the area under irrigation is continuously increasing in Madhya Pradesh, due to which farmers are getting benefits in farming. Along with this, the government has also ensured adequate electricity supply for the farmers, so that there is no problem in farming work. He said that the aim of the government is to provide every necessary facility to the farmers, so that both their farming and income can improve.

New experiment started by giving helmets to farmers

The Chief Minister also mentioned a special initiative. He said that under the Farmers Welfare Year, farmers traveling to the city from villages carrying milk and vegetables on two-wheelers have been given helmets for safety. He said that this initiative is not only for the safety of farmers but also a new innovation, which will reduce the risk of road accidents.

The Chief Minister said that Balram Krishi Mahotsav will be organized in all the districts of Madhya Pradesh till 13th November. Along with this, there will also be many other programs related to farming, in which farmers will be given information about new technology, modern farming and government schemes. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is continuously working with the aim of overall development of farmers, women, youth and the poor.

Adopt advanced farming, earn more

Congratulating all the farmers present in Khargone, the Chief Minister said that farmers should adopt advanced farming techniques so that their income can increase. He assured that farmers will be provided adequate electricity both day and night. Also told that participation of 16 departments has been ensured under Agricultural Welfare Year. With the cooperation of all these departments, work will be done rapidly on the roadmap to increase the income of farmers.

Farmers arrived in large numbers

A large number of farmers participated in the Balram Agricultural Festival organized in Khargone. Public representatives, common citizens and officers and employees of various departments also participated in the program. The government says that through such programs, new technology, government schemes and important information related to farming is being delivered directly to the farmers.
