Prithviraj Sukumaran’s I, Nobody has failed to make an impact at the Indian box office and is now heading towards a disastrous finish.
The Malayalam heist action thriller had a modest opening week, but its performance in the second week has confirmed that the film has little audience pull left.
On its second Saturday, the film collected just Rs 16 lakh. Though this was slightly higher than the Rs 11 lakh earned on the previous day, the growth offered little relief as the overall collections remained extremely low.
In 10 days, I, Nobody has reportedly earned around Rs 8.25 crore net in India, which is approximately Rs 9.73 crore gross.
With collections slowing down sharply, the film is unlikely to add much more in the coming days.
At the current pace, I, Nobody is expected to end its theatrical run with a lifetime collection of less than Rs 10 crore net in India, making it one of the major disappointments in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s recent career.
