Many major regional parties have distanced themselves from the INDIA alliance meeting to be held in Delhi. None of the major parties of Tamil Nadu, including Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), are attending the meeting. Apart from this, the absence of parties like Aam Aadmi Party and Shiv Sena (UBT) has given rise to new discussions regarding opposition unity and future strategy of INDIA alliance.
