Two-thirds of Rajya Sabha members will merge with BJP.
Addressing the press conference, Raghav Chadha said that he, along with Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, have decided that two-thirds of the Aam Aadmi Party members in the Rajya Sabha will merge with the BJP using the provisions of the Constitution. He also claimed that Swati Maliwal will also join BJP. This statement is considered very important politically, because it can have a direct impact on the strength of AAP in the Rajya Sabha.

There was a discussion in political circles for a long time that the relationship between Raghav Chadha and Arvind Kejriwal is not the same as before.
It is said that when Kejriwal was in jail, Raghav was in London with his wife Parineeti Chopra and their pictures were discussed on social media. After this the distance within the party became clearly visible.
Even during the Lok Sabha elections, he was kept relatively away from the active politics of Punjab. Recently, AAP also removed him from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha and Ashok Mittal was given the responsibility in his place.
