Big blast from PNB! New credit card launched, will get double benefit of UPI and travel benefits

Leading public sector bank Punjab National Bank (PNB) has launched a new co-branded PNB-Zaggle Credit Card in collaboration with fintech company Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited. This card has been made available with the option of both Visa and RuPay networks, so that customers will get more facilities and better payment options.

The bank says that this card has been specially designed keeping in mind those customers who prefer digital payments and want to take advantage of modern banking facilities.

New card will be environment friendly

PNB said that the new credit card has been made from biodegradable material keeping environmental protection in mind. This will help in reducing the impact of plastic waste on the environment.

The bank believes that in today’s era, customers are giving priority not only to facilities but also to environmentally responsible products. This card has been designed under this thinking.

Features of both Visa and RuPay networks

In PNB-Zaggle Credit Card, customers will get the benefit of dual network. Payment and travel related special facilities will be available globally through Visa network. At the same time, lifestyle benefits and UPI based payment facility will be available through RuPay network. With this, customers will be able to do both online and offline transactions with more ease and security.

PNB Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashok Chandra said that the bank is continuously developing new digital payment solutions keeping in mind the needs of young and tech-savvy customers. He said that there is still a lot of scope for expansion of credit card business in India and this partnership with Zagal will give new strength to the card business of the bank.

Avinash Ramesh Godkhindi, Managing Director and CEO of Jagal Prepaid Ocean Services, said that this partnership with PNB is an important part of the company’s growth strategy.
