Bharat NCAP Crash Test Speed

Front offset impact test: According to the official site of Bharat NCAP, in this test the car is driven at a speed of 64km/h. This test is done to check how well the car protects the driver and front passengers in an accident.

Side Impact Test: According to the official site of Bharat NCAP, in this test the car is driven at a speed of 50km/h. This test is done to check how well the car protects the passengers from side impact in an accident.

Pole Side Impact Test: In this test the car is hit into a pole at a speed of 29 kilometers per hour. This test is done to check how well the car protects the passengers if it hits a pole in an accident. Note that the crash test speed of Global NCAP is slightly different from Bharat NCAP.
