How to make Bhajiya Usal

  • Wash the peas thoroughly and soak them for five hours. Then take it in the cooker and add salt and turmeric to it and boil it.
  • – Now finely chop four onions, five garlic cloves and a little ginger. Then put it in a mixer jar and make a paste.
  • Then grind all four tomatoes in a small mixer jar and make a paste.
  • – Now add three spoons of dry coriander, a little cinnamon, black pepper, 5 cloves, an egg, a little fennel and bay leaves in a pan and fry for three minutes. Then take out the roasted spices in a mixer jar. – Add one spoon red chilli, turmeric, sandalwood powder, a little salt and make a powder.
  • Take four spoons of oil in a big pan. Then add onion paste and cook for five minutes. – Then add tomato paste and cook. Take out some of it in the gravy bowl.
  • Then add one spoon red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and roasted masala powder in the gravy of this pan and mix everything. – Then add five cups of water in it. Then add boiled peas in it. – Then add salt as per taste. Then let it cook for 10 minutes. – Then add two spoons of chama flour in it and mix.
  • Then add chopped fenugreek, coriander, chilli, black pepper and green coriander in the bowl and mix. Then add salt, sugar and gram flour to it and make a batter. Then add a little baking soda and lemon juice and mix. – Then heat the oil for frying the pakodas and fry the pakodas.
  • Then take out the pakodas in a plate and break them slightly. Then put flame in it and add cumin, chopped onion and green coriander on top.
