Actress Bhagyashrii Borse has described working alongside Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the upcoming film Operation Ganga as a “blessing”, saying she is learning from the veteran actor during every day of the shoot.
Bhagyashrii shared a picture with Mohanlal on Instagram and expressed her admiration for her co-star.
“Dearest @mohanlal sir, To be your co-actor feels like a blessing. Every day of shoot, I get to see cinema through your eyes and learn from you. You are truly gifted sir,” she wrote.
The Operation Ganga team is currently filming important sequences in Georgia, according to sources close to the production.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vishnu Mohan, the film was earlier referred to by its working title L367 before being officially titled Operation Ganga.
The film draws its title from India’s evacuation mission launched in 2022 to bring back Indian citizens, including thousands of students, who were stranded in Ukraine following the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The film carries the tagline A Nation’s Promise and is centred on the high-stakes evacuation operation.
Alongside Mohanlal and Bhagyashrii Borse, the film features Arjun Rampal, Parthiban and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles.
The technical team includes cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, production designer Rajeevan and action director Sea Young Oh. Music is being composed by Shashwat Sachdev, while Shameer Mohammed is handling the editing and Bishwadeep Chatterjee is the sound designer.
Produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the Sree Gokulam Movies banner, the film has Baiju Gopalan and V. C. Praveen as co-producers and Krishnamoorthy as executive producer. K. V. Sanjit is overseeing the visual effects, while Melvy J is handling costume design and Ronex Xavier is the makeup artist.
Vishnu Mohan is known for directing the devotional film Meppadiyan.
