Sigehalli triple murder case: Three people of the same family were brutally murdered in Sigehalli area of Bengaluru. The deceased include husband and wife and their 19-year-old daughter.
Bengaluru (Karnataka): Three people of the same family were brutally murdered with knives in Sigehalli area of Bengaluru. Police said on Tuesday that the incident took place in an apartment in KR Puram police station area. The incident took place in front of Lakshmi Narasimha PG near Kasturinagar Main Road on Monday evening between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.
The accused was living with the family for 3 months.
- The deceased have been identified as 52-year-old Som Sundar, 48-year-old Muthu Lakshmi and 19-year-old Supriya. Whitefield Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Saidulu Adawatha (IPS) said that the incident took place when the three men had gone to a flat. The elder daughter of the family and the accused were living together in this flat for the last two months.
- Police suspect that there was an argument over some issue, following which the victims were stabbed multiple times. Police teams are conducting a massive search operation to trace the accused. More information is awaited in the matter.
