Bengaluru: A surprising case has come to light in Bengaluru. Here, a young man found it difficult to go to his old friend’s house to meet her. The friend’s husband and relatives beat him so much that he died. This incident took place in Byatarayanpura police station area. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Kasif, 27, who was a resident of Beedi Colony, Ramnagar and was into scrap business. In this case, the police have detained Kasif’s friend’s husband Akbar and some of his relatives and started questioning them. Police said that the incident took place two days ago in Bapujinagar, when Mohammed had gone to his friend’s house.
According to the police, Mohammad Kasif earlier lived in Bapujinagar, but later settled in Ramnagar with his family. The friendship between Kasif and Akbar’s wife dates back to their school days. When Kasif was in 10th class, the girl was studying in 8th. There was a deep friendship between the two, which continued even after the girl’s marriage. But her husband Akbar was strictly against this friendship.
On Monday evening, Mohammad had gone to meet his friend at her house in Bapujinagar. At the same time Akbar also came home. Seeing Kasif in the house he became furious. He questioned Kasif, “Why have you come here?” And then attacked him. Soon his relatives also came there and together they beat Kasif badly. After the beating, Kasif somehow escaped from there and reached his home in Ramnagar. There were injury marks all over his body.
After reaching home, Kasif started having trouble breathing at night. The family immediately took him to a nearby hospital, but he died during treatment. After investigation, doctors said that Kasif died due to fatal attack and internal injuries. Following this, Kasif’s family lodged a complaint at Byatarayanpura police station.
