The victim says that when she returned home, the accused had locked her husband in a room. At the same time, when she returned, he caught hold of her, closed her mouth and started beating her. The victim was admitted to the hospital after the incident. During treatment, he complained of constant pain in the lower abdomen. Problems increased again after discharge from hospital
After treatment, the victim was discharged from the hospital on June 12. But even after returning home, he continued to complain of pain. After this, on June 17, he was again taken to the district hospital, where additional medical examination was done. Begusarai Superintendent of Police (SP) Manish said that a medical board has been formed to investigate the case. He said that every aspect of the incident is being investigated and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also been formed for this. Police are continuously conducting raids and search operations in search of absconding accused.
Search for the accused continues
According to the police, a case was registered immediately after the incident. At present all the accused are said to be absconding. The investigating agencies are investigating the case on the basis of medical report, victim’s statement and other evidence. Police say that efforts are on to arrest the accused soon.
