Italy’s tennis superstar Yannick Sinner continues to shine. Sinner, who missed the French Open 2026 due to fitness, made a strong comeback in Wimbledon 2026 and became champion for the second consecutive time. In the men’s singles final played on the Center Court on Sunday, July 12, Sinner defeated Germany’s second seed Alexander Zverev 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4 in a 4-set match. In this way, Sinner defended his title and won Wimbledon for the second consecutive time and the fifth Grand Slam overall.
Once again a large number of celebrities were present on the center court for the men’s singles final and thousands of other spectators had also gathered. All eyes were once again on Yannick Sinner because he had won this title last year and this time too he was in excellent form. Seeing the way Sinner defeated Novok Djokovic in the semi-finals in just 3 sets, he was once again considered a contender for the title. But it was not easy to deal with Zverev, who is in his best form this season and had also become French Open champion a few days ago.
