A few weeks ago, the Indian board, who imposed many restrictions on Team India, has now given a new decree about IPL teams. Now before the start of the season, teams will be able to participate in only 7 practice sessions. This rule of BCCI has come with the aim of keeping the ground and pitches completely safe for the tournament.
Rules made regarding practice
The practice session of teams for IPL 2025 will now be controlled by BCCI. Till now there were no rules regarding the practice session, but now the teams will not be allowed to practice on the match day. Apart from this, players will not be allowed for open nets on the field.

Both teams will not be able to practice at the same time!
IPL teams will also play on their practice match side wicket. On the other hand, if the teams practice in the night or evening, then they will not get more than three and a half hours. On the other hand, if such a situation is created that both teams want to practice on the field at the same time, then the BCCI will reach a result after talking to the manager of both teams to resolve the matter. Apart from this, two nets will be arranged for practice to teams. One of which will be for a range of hitting.
