Sahastradhara, which is situated in Dehradun i.e. at a distance of a few kilometers from Paonta Sahib. The specialty of this place is its sulfur spring.
It is believed that bathing in it cures many diseases, like cancer, ulcers, skin diseases, allergies etc. Joint pain is also cured by bathing in this water. That’s why people come here from far and wide. It is said that till now hundreds of people have recovered from here. Scientists themselves have tested its water here and considered it to be like nectar. If anyone in the family or friend circle has any such problem then they can go here. Anyway, it is not necessary to go out every weekend only for outings. Many times people go to such places because it is important to take care of health.
You can go for a walk only when your health remains good. Can enjoy life. I went here just last week. I noticed that the water around the waterfall is cold but the water in the middle is hot. Can take bath in it. This water gets heated naturally. Such elements are found in it, which cure many diseases. There was a crowd of people also here. There is good facility to stay here.
The road is also fine. Talking about the route, Chandigarh to Kala Amb, Nahan, Paonta Sahib and then Sahastradhara. You can also roam here, it is a hilly area, there is greenery. One should avoid going here during the rainy season.
