Strict action against cruise staff, services terminated

On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the services of cruise pilot Mahesh Patel, cruise helper Chhotalal Gond and ticket counter in-charge Brijendra were terminated with immediate effect. This step has been taken to fix responsibility in the accident.

Manager suspended, investigation on regional manager

Sunil Maravi, manager of Hotel Maikal Resort and Boat Club Bargi, has been suspended for negligence in work. At the same time, Regional Manager Sanjay Malhotra has been attached to the headquarters and orders have been given for a departmental inquiry against him.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met the families of the accident victims in Jabalpur and consoled them. He visited the homes of the families of deceased Neetu Soni and Riyaz Hussain and expressed his condolences.
