Farmer Pushpendra Gangwar found it difficult to defend his brother’s murder in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. Late Monday evening, while going from the village to his city home, unknown miscreants shot and killed Pushpendra. According to the information, Pushpendra’s brother Vinod Gangwar was murdered in 2021, since then he was pursuing this case. On Monday, when Pushpendra was coming to the city from the village, three bike-riding miscreants shot him four times in the chest, due to which he died on the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and started searching for the killers.
On Monday, farmer Pushpendra Gangwar was shot dead near Padholi village of Bareilly-Bisalpur road in Bhuta police station area. The deceased Pushpendra Gangwar was defending the murder of his brother Vinod Gangwar in 2021. On Monday evening, Pushpendra was coming from the village to his city home, when three bike riders stopped him on the way. All three fled after firing bullets at Pushpendra.
The family members blocked the road by keeping the dead body
Hearing the sound of bullets, people nearby informed the police. As soon as the information was received, forces from several police stations including SSP Anurag Arya, SP Dehat and CO reached the spot. The family members of the deceased blocked the road by placing the dead body, but after convincing the police, the jam was opened. The relatives of the deceased said that the police should find the murderers as soon as possible and send them to jail.
Bike riding miscreants shot
SSP Anurag Arya said that Pushpendra alias Pushpal, son of Baburam, resident of Kharda village, Bhuta police station, was going by bike, when information was received that Pushpendra was shot at by three unknown miscreants riding on a bike. Police reached the spot and sent Pushpendra for treatment, but he died in the hospital. SSP said that so far two accused have been identified. Five police teams have been deployed to arrest them.
The brother of the deceased was murdered 3 years ago
During investigation, it was revealed that the deceased had an old enmity with the village’s history-sheeter Puranlal and his family, in which the deceased’s brother Vinod Gangwar was murdered in the year 2021. Puranlal’s brother Pawan Kumar had gone to jail in this murder case. The deceased Pushpendra Gangwar was the plaintiff in this case. The testimony of all the witnesses had been completed and currently the case was pending in the court at the final stage.

SSP said that on the basis of whatever complaint is given by the family members of the deceased in the case, a case will be registered immediately. Five police teams have been formed to raid the hideouts of the accused. SOG team, surveillance team, area officer and police station team, all of them have been deployed. Strict action will be taken by arresting all the accused immediately.
