Even though banks are going to be closed for only 12 days across the country in the month of November, banks will remain closed for 4 consecutive days in the country next week. This means that it is going to be a long weekend next. The main reason for which is bank holidays due to Chhath Puja. Which will start from 7th November and will continue till Sunday 10th November. Banks are going to remain closed in different states on 7th and 8th November on the occasion of Chhath Puja. On the other hand, there is a holiday for banks across the country on Saturday and Sunday.
According to the RBI holiday calendar, there will be a holiday on November 7 for Chhath Puja in Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand and West Bengal. On November 8, banks will remain closed in Bihar, Jharkhand and Meghalaya on the occasion of morning Arghya and Wangala Mahotsav.
