Bajaj Housing Finance Q4 results: NBFC Bajaj Housing Finance reported its earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q4 FY26) on Monday, April 27, posting a 14.06% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its net profit to ₹669.19 crore.

In the corresponding period of the last fiscal year, it had logged a profit of ₹586.68 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

The bottom-line growth was supported by a one-time tax benefit of about ₹34 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

Its net interest income (NII) recorded a 15% YoY growth to ₹945 crore during the quarter under review, compared to ₹823 crore in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year.

Its net interest margin (NIM) dropped to 3.8% in the fourth quarter of FY26, in comparison to 4% in Q4 FY25.

The Bajaj Group company’s asset quality improved, with its gross non-performing assets (GNPA) declining to 0.27% of the gross loans by the end of March 2026 from 0.29% a year ago.

Net NPAs, or bad loans, remained flat at 0.11% at the end of the fourth quarter of FY26.

Its assets under management (AUM) rose to ₹1.4 lakh crore at the end of FY26, registering a growth of 23% YoY. The AUM grew amid heightened competitive intensity and increased portfolio attrition.

The NBFC saw AUM growth across anchored products, with home loans AUM surging 18% YoY, and Lease Rental Discounting (LRD) rising 44%.

The company performed well across all metrics, i.e., AUM growth, opex efficiency, asset quality, and return metrics in FY26.

In FY26, the firm witnessed a 7 basis points (bps) of margin compression, as against the initial assessment of 15-20 bps, supported by higher fee income and assignment income than assessed initially.

Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance 1.88% higher at ₹91.07 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday ahead of the earnings announcement.

The scrip has gained 2% in the past week and 20% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, however, it has fallen 5%.

While the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹136.96 on April 24, 2025, it touched a year’s low of ₹72.65 per equity share on March 30, 2026.

Bajaj Housing Finance has a total market capitalisation of ₹76,032.55 crore as of April 27, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
