Dham’s Peeth Adeshwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri wished all the countrymen on the festival of lights, Diwali. During this, they burst fireworks and also burst 10 twine bombs. On the occasion of Diwali, Bageshwar Dham was decorated like a bride. The entire Dham was shining with colorful lights. Lamps were lit in the courtyard of the Dham. On this occasion, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at the Dham. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri lit the fireworks along with the devotees. They also fired sparkler and twine bombs.

On the occasion of Diwali, Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said in response to a question that some people oppose our Sanatan festivals. On the issue of distributing oil among the poor being better than lighting lamps, he said that the violence that takes place in the name of sacrifice during Bakrid should also be stopped.
