The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great pomp at Bageshwar Dham located in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Dham’s Peeth Adeshwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri wished all the countrymen on the festival of lights, Diwali. During this, they burst fireworks and also burst 10 twine bombs. He had said before Diwali that those who oppose our Sanatan festivals, twine bombs will definitely be burst in their name. Regarding pollution, he said that we are also as worried as other people are about the pollution spreading in the country. Because this country is ours.

On the occasion of Diwali, Bageshwar Dham was decorated like a bride. The entire Dham was shining with colorful lights. Lamps were lit in the courtyard of the Dham. On this occasion, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at the Dham. Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri lit the fireworks along with the devotees. They also fired sparkler and twine bombs.

On the occasion of Diwali, Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said in response to a question that some people oppose our Sanatan festivals. On the issue of distributing oil among the poor being better than lighting lamps, he said that the violence that takes place in the name of sacrifice during Bakrid should also be stopped. He said that our aim is not to influence anyone’s religious sentiments, but we are firm on our religion. When someone opposes our religion, we will respond with full force.

On the day of Diwali, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri fed the cows with his own hands. He offered prayers at the Dham. After that he reached among the devotees who had come to the Dham. He along with everyone lit lamps and then set off fireworks.
