An innocent girl died due to the negligence of the doctors of the Government Medical College, Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. The doctors and staff kept playing cricket. At the same time, a five-year-old innocent girl died in her mother’s lap due to lack of treatment. Meanwhile, the helpless father kept pleading with the doctors. The victim’s father complained to the higher authorities. The Principal of the Medical College has constituted a three-member committee for investigation.
The matter came to light in the Government Medical College on Wednesday. A five-year-old girl suffering from fever died here allegedly due to lack of treatment. The family members who brought her for treatment allege that the doctors and health workers remained busy playing cricket during the treatment, due to which their daughter died in agony. A three-member committee has been formed to investigate the matter.

Principal of Government Medical College, Dr. Arun Kumar said that Nazim, a resident of village Thalia Nagla under Musazhaag police station area of Badaun district, had taken his daughter Sophia to the medical college on Wednesday afternoon after she complained of fever. Nazim alleged that a pediatrician was not present in the medical college. Later, the health workers sent the girl to different rooms for treatment. But there was no doctor or employee present there. During this time the girl died.
Innocent child kept suffering from fever for three hours
Nazim claimed that when he came outside the medical college, he saw doctors and health workers playing cricket. It is alleged that despite much pleading and pleading, no doctor or health worker treated the girl and after suffering for about three hours, Sophia died in her mother’s lap. The principal said that this is a very sad incident and a committee of three doctors has been formed to investigate the matter.
He said that action will be taken on the basis of the report. On the allegation of doctors and health workers playing cricket matches instead of providing treatment, he said that the doctors of the out-patient department were not playing the matches. He said that perhaps the doctors who had leave might be playing cricket. The case is being investigated.
