Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attended the program organized on Sunday on the eve of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. It was organized by the Janata Dal-United (JDU) in the name of ‘Bhima Samvad’ in Bapu Auditorium of Patna. During this, CM Nitish Kumar said that his government is committed to the welfare of all sections of the society.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appealed to the people of all sections of the society to stay united with peace and harmony in the ‘Bhima Samvad’ program. He paid tribute to the constitution maker Babasaheb Ambedkar. During this time, he remembered his visit to Babasaheb’s house while staying in the Union Cabinet led by former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Babasaheb will remain an inspiration for us- CM
CM Nitish Kumar said that our government is committed to the welfare of all sections of the society including Dalits, Mahadalits, Backward, OBC, Muslim community and upper castes. Babasaheb will remain an inspiration for us. He said, ‘When I was a Union Minister, I went to his house and met his family members. I appeal to people of all sections of society to stay united with peace and harmony.
Apart from Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, National Executive Chairman of JDU Sanjay Kumar Jha, members of the state cabinet and several top leaders of the party were present in the program organized in Bapu Auditorium. Meanwhile, JDU’s coalition partner BJP started the ‘Jai Bhima’ padyatra from the historic Gandhi Maidan located just a short distance from Bapu Auditorium.
Babasaheb laid the foundation of strong democracy- BJP
Union Minister Mansukh Mandavia, State BJP President Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha and many other party leaders participated in this padyatra. Mandavia wrote in a post on ‘X’, ‘On the eve of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, more than 6 thousand young colleagues of’ Mai Bharat ‘took out’ Jai Bhim Padayatra ‘in Patna on Sunday. Babasaheb was the creator of the Constitution, laid the foundation of strong democracy of India.
