The automotive industry has seen some major launches and updates this week. Auto Guangzhou, the much talked about auto expo in China, also saw some major unveilings of cars.
This includes the Cadillac Optiq SUV, Kia EVS, and more. The auto show started on November 17 and it will continue till November 26.
Hyundai also unveiled the facelift version of the Tucson, while British carmaker Mini introduced the all-new 2025 Mini Countryman. Let’s take a look at the major launches this week:
Hyundai Unveils Tucson Facelift
Popular carmaker Hyundai has globally launched the facelift version of their The updated version of Tucson comes with a new dashboard with twin 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. It also has a new 3-spoke steering wheel and a gear lever positioned on the steering column. It has two engines: a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 154 BHP and 192 Nm, and a 2.0-litre diesel engine that generates 183 BHP and 416 Nm. The facelift version is expected to be launched in India in 2024.
Xiaomi reveals details about the SU7
The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has unveiled details about its new electric vehicle, The EV series will have three models: The SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max. The new electric car will come with a drive system that offers a rear-wheel drive with a 220 kW electric motor and an all-wheel drive with a maximum power of 495 kW. The LFP-type battery comes from BYD for the more affordable version, while the more expensive version will use an NMC-type tripartite battery from CATL.
Honda Launches CB350 in India
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the bike. The newly launched bike is powered by a 348.36cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder BSVI OBD2-B compliant PGM-FI engine. The strong engine offers 15.5 kW of power at 5,500 RPM and 29.4 Nm of torque at 3,000 RPM. The retro classic motorcycle is launched at a price of Rs 1,99,900.
2025 Mini Countryman unveiled
British carmaker Mini has unveiled its latest and largest Mini yet, called the The base model for the 2025 Countryman is the S ALL4. It comes with a performance-oriented 2.0L engine and standard AWD. The latest version of Mini has upright A-pillars, strong lines, and a boxy silhouette, which makes it look bigger in size. It is expected that the car will be launched in India in 2024.
Lucid Unveils Gravity
Lucid, which is an electric vehicle start-up, has introduced its highly anticipated The Gravity comes with a dual-motor setup on an all-wheel-drive platform and produces up to 792 bhp power. Lucid also claims that their SUV can reach from 0 to 100 kmph in about 3.67 seconds. It also offers a range of 708 km in the high-performance, seven-seater version.
