In Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh, there were so many passengers sitting in an auto that even the traffic in-charge was shocked to see it. No one can even imagine that so many passengers can ever sit in a small auto. As per the permission, the auto driver had 15 passengers crammed into the auto with one driver and three passengers. When the traffic in-charge stopped the auto during checking, he also sat down holding his forehead. At one point, the traffic police in-charge was forced to think that how did these passengers sit at all. The traffic in-charge issued a challan of Rs 6500 against the auto driver.
The entire incident is being reported from Tirwa road near Pal intersection of Sadar area. During checking by the traffic police on social media, an auto was caught in which about four times more passengers were seated than permitted. After its video went viral on social media, everyone was forced to think that how did so many passengers sit in the auto?
The traffic police in-charge was conducting a checking campaign against vehicles running against traffic rules near Pal intersection, when he saw an auto coming from Tirwa towards Kannauj. From the front, the auto appeared to be full of normal passengers but when the traffic in-charge stopped the auto and started counting the passengers sitting inside, he found himself short of fingers. He himself was not able to understand that where four people can sit in the auto, there are 15 people sitting in the auto.
was inviting an accident
On the auto driver’s seat, where there is only space for the driver to sit. Three more people were sitting on that seat along with the auto driver. The auto driver was driving the auto in a very strange position with his back twisted. If he turns the auto to the right, then his elbow will hit the stomach of the passenger on the right side and if he turns the auto to the left, then his elbow will hit the stomach of the passenger on the left side. In such a situation, if any accident ever happens, small carelessness can lead to a big accident.
Video viral on social media
Traffic Police Incharge Afaq Khan took the auto driver out and himself asked him to look and count how many passengers he had boarded. If an accident happens then who will be responsible for so many lives?
