Jaipur (Rajasthan): The death toll in the accident on Ajmer Highway in Jaipur has now reached four. Injured father Chandraprakash also died during treatment at Government Jaipuria Hospital on Tuesday. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Jeevraj Singh has confirmed Chandraprakash’s death.

Inauspicious happened on Tuesday
- This tragic accident happened on Tuesday morning. Chandraprakash along with his wife and three children were waiting for public transport near 200 feet bypass on Ajmer Road Highway. According to the police, then a speeding trailer went out of control and crushed the entire family standing on the roadside.
- In this accident, all three children died on the spot. After crushing the family, the trailer also broke the railing on the roadside. The condition of the children’s mother still remains critical and she is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
- The incident took place between 8:45 and 9 am in front of a hotel on the Delhi-Ajmer highway.
- Traffic police officer Puniram Meena said, “The trailer was coming from the highway and it hit the children standing at the bus stop. Three children died on the spot.”

- ACP Surendra Singh of Sodala, Jaipur Police Commissionerate said, “Some people of a family were sitting on the roadside. A trailer came and ran over them. Bodies of three children were recovered.”
- ACP Amin Hasan of Jaipur Traffic Police also informed that the accident happened when the victim’s family was waiting for the vehicle. He said, “The incident took place around 9 am. A family, consisting of a husband and wife and their three children, were waiting for the vehicle. Meanwhile, the trailer crushed them. According to preliminary information, three children have died, while the parents have been seriously injured and have been admitted to the hospital.”
- The bodies of the three children have been sent to the mortuary of Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital for postmortem.
