Audi Unveils Latest Facelift For Q7 SUV: Enhanced Design, Technology, And Powertrain Options

Audi has revealed the updated Q7 SUV, scheduled for a Q1 2024 launch. Following extensive prototype testing, the European debut showcases a significant facelift for the second-generation Q7. Key enhancements include a revamped single-frame grille, customizable laser headlamps, additional exterior colors, and advanced technological features.

This marks the second major facelift for the Q7’s current iteration.

The Q7 facelift boasts an imposing single-frame grille with an octagon-themed pattern, redesigned vertical corner vents, and Matrix HD LED headlamps that can be personalized, featuring laser lights – a first for the Q7. The LED daytime running lights and taillights offer drivers four customizable lighting signatures.

The base variant introduces 19-inch wheels, aluminum roof rails, rear-view camera with parking assist, and contrasting stitching. Optional features include nine decorative inlays for the greenhouse panel, and three new exterior color options – Ascari Blue, Sakhir Gold, and Chili Red, along with 20 to 22-inch wheel choices.

The SUV incorporates various new tech-driven features, including updated driver-assist functions displayed on the virtual cockpit, such as lane-change warnings and distance alerts.

The powertrain options include a 3.0-liter diesel engine with two different states of tune and a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 motor for the SQ7. The latter promises a quick acceleration, reaching 0-96 kmph in 4.1 seconds. The European market will see the Q7 on sale by March 2024, followed by a gradual global rollout, with an anticipated arrival in India later this year or in early 2025.
