Kolkata: The shares of AU Small Finance Bank fell marginally in early trade on Tuesday, April 28. The stock movement follows announcement of all-round robust performance for the Q4FY26 period after market hours. The bank’s net profit of for Q4FY26 period was Rs 831.87 crore, up 65.15% against Rs 503.70 crore in Q4FY25. Total income moved up 14.29% to touch Rs 5,750.09 crore in the Dec quarter against Rs 5031.27 crore posted in the same period last year. Profit before tax stood at Rs 1,082.08 crore, up 64.66% against the same period a year ago. From the full year perspective, AU SFB has clocked a 25.42% surge in net profit Rs 2,641.25 crore and a 16.27% rise in total income that stood at Rs 21,614.28 crore on a Y-o-Y basis. The board of the bank has recommended a dividend of Rs 1 or 10% for FY26, which is subject to shareholder approval at the AGM.
NIM moves up, CASA moves up, NPA goes down
The net interest income or NII stood at Rs 2,582 crore in Q4FY26 which registered a rise of 23% YoY. On the other hand net interest margin or NIM stood at 5.9% in Q4FY26 against 5.8% in Q4 FY25. Pre-provisioning operating profit too rose 5% on YoY and basis 11% on QoQ basis to Rs 1,352 crore. The surge in total deposits in Q4FY26 was by 23% YoY and 10% QoQ to Rs 152,661 crore.
CASA deposits kin Q4FY26 surged by 20% YoY to reach Rs 43,357 crore against Rs 36,253 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The vital CASA ratio was 28% at the end of FY26. Provisions and contingencies declined significantly to Rs 269.43 crore in Q4FY26 compared to Rs 635.11 crore in the same period a year ago. However, there was a rise in NPA — net NPA stood at Rs 990 crore as at the end of Q4FY26 against Rs 791 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
