Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) is a scheme of the Central Government. Under this, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given every year in three equal installments to all the land-owning farmer families of the country to increase their income. Farmers who have completed their eKYC, whose bank accounts are linked to Aadhaar card (UID card) and whose land records are registered on PM Kisan portal, are eligible to get the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. Let us also tell you when the eligible farmers will get the 24th installment of PM Kisan Yojana? Also, how can I update EKYC online?
When will the 24th installment be received?
The 24th installment of PM Kisan Yojana is likely to be released in October 2026. Installments are usually released every four months. The amount of PM Kisan installment will be Rs 2,000. The previous installment was released on June 20, 2026.

Which farmers do not get benefits?
The government has identified some suspected cases that may fall under the ‘exclusion rules’ mentioned in the guidelines of the PM-Kisan scheme. These include…
(i) Those farmers who have acquired land ownership after February 1, 2019.
(ii) Cases where more than one member of the family is availing the benefit (eg, both husband and wife, one adult member and one minor, etc.).
In such cases, benefits have been withheld until physical verification is completed.
Farmers are requested to check their eligibility status through ‘Know Your Status’ (KYS) or ‘Kisan eMitra’ chatbot on PM Kisan website/mobile app for more information.
