Ather Energy has launched its new Konarc electric scooter in New Delhi at a special introductory price of Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom, including subsidy). Positioned as a scooter aimed at making electric mobility more accessible, the Konarc gets up to 200km IDC range, six variants and a new fifth-generation Bedrock battery with a 10-year warranty.

Ather Konarc will be available across the company’s S and Z product lines, with six variants offering different range options.
Deliveries will begin in a phased manner for select variants. Ather is positioning the Konarc alongside its existing 450 series and Rizta in Delhi-NCR.
Up to 200km range and 10-year battery warranty
Konarc gets Ather’s fifth-generation Bedrock battery pack, backed by a 10-year or 1,00,000km warranty, whichever comes earlier.
Ather also guarantees a minimum 70% state of health at the end of the warranty period. The scooter offers IDC range options of up to 200km.
Ather says the Konarc has been developed around Indian road conditions, with a focus on stability and comfort. It gets a 14-inch front alloy wheel, 12-inch rear alloy wheel, 1,352mm wheelbase and long-travel suspension at both ends.
It is also Ather’s first scooter to feature metal panels on the rear and a steel unibody chassis. A sequential gear-drive transmission is designed to provide smooth and quiet power delivery.
The electric scooter introduces several new features, including Advanced Electronic Braking System (AeBS), MagicKey, AutoPop and AirWalk.
AeBS adjusts braking force between the front and rear wheels based on road conditions while also using regenerative braking. MagicKey offers keyless access, SmartWake, automatic locking and remote scooter location.
Faster charging and Delhi-NCR network
Konarc comes with an integrated onboard charger and charging cable. Buyers can also opt for a 450W offboard charger, which can work with the built-in charger to deliver 900W through Combined Charging, potentially reducing home charging time by up to half.
Ather says Delhi-NCR currently has 11 Experience Centres, seven Service Centres and 273 LECCS fast-charging points.
The company said EV adoption in Delhi-NCR increased from 6.27% in Q1 FY26 to 9.23% in Q1 FY27, with 38% year-on-year growth according to Vahan data.
