Auspicious time of Devshayani Ekadashi fast 2026 Paran
According to the scriptures, the fast of Ekadashi is always broken on Dwadashi date only. Not performing Parana within Dwadashi tithi is considered equivalent to committing a sin. Also, this fast is not observed even during Hari Vasar. Tomorrow, the auspicious time for breaking the fast of Devshayani Ekadashi will be from 06:13 AM to 08:50 AM. Tomorrow Dwadashi Tithi will end at 01:57 pm.
Method of breaking the fast of Devshayani Ekadashi
To break the fast of Ekadashi, take bath on the Dwadashi date. Then wear clean clothes. After this, light a lamp in front of the statue or picture of Lord Vishnu. Offer Tulsi, flowers, fruits and offerings to Narayan. Perform Aarti of Lord Vishnu. Before breaking the fast, donate food, money or clothes to a Brahmin, poor or needy person. Then break your fast by consuming Tulsi Dal, Panchamrit or Satvik food.
