Speaking on his journey across continents, Om Prakash Mundra notes that his passion extends far beyond the boundaries of any single discipline. He added that his wife used to travel right alongside him for decades before shifting gears to allow for these solo expeditions.
“This is my 7th game (Asian Games), and I have been a volunteer for the Commonwealth Games 3 times. I have attended 6 Commonwealth Games,” Mundra said in a video shared by Olympic Khel on its X (formerly Twitter).
“I have been to Wimbledon many times. I have been to the French Open. I have also been to the Kabaddi World Cup and even the Rugby World Cup.”
“My wife has not come with me for 3-4 years. Earlier we used to go to all the games together. We have also done volunteering many times. I have a strong attachment to sports,” he added.
