Asian Games 2026 LIVE Updates: Day 4 of the Asian Games 2026 is well underway in Aichi-Nagoya, with the Indian contingent in action across several sports.
India has already seen plenty of action today, with badminton, shooting, table tennis, kabaddi and other events taking centre stage.
The focus now shifts to cricket, where the Indian women’s team is currently taking on Sri Lanka in the gold medal match. India, the defending champions, are looking to open their gold medal account at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. The team reached the final after a dominant 114-run win over Bangladesh in the semifinal.
Earlier in the day, India’s badminton campaign faced a setback as the women’s team took on Japan in the quarter-finals. The Indian contingent is also involved in kabaddi, table tennis, boxing, wushu, karate, hockey and other disciplines today.
With the women’s cricket team now battling for gold, India will hope to add its first yellow metal of the Games while continuing its medal push across the remaining events.
