However, what John wrote could not be read or heard on any main stream media site. The English newspaper The Telegraph also did not mention Ashwin in the list of contenders given in its report. In such a situation, just looking at unverified social media posts, it would not be correct to say that Ashwin is in the race to become the Test coach of England.
Talks about Ravi Shastri only on social media
There is discussion only on social media about Ravi Shastri being made the Test coach of England. His name is not even mentioned in the reports of any big media house or any big newspaper of England. This has also been written on social media quoting the report. But there is no mention of whose report it is and how accurate it is. In such a situation, the fact that Shastri, the former head coach of Team India, is in the race for England’s Test coach also does not seem to be digested.
