Ashadha Gupt Navratri Ghatsthapana Rules: Navratri has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. Usually devotees observe fast on Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri, but Gupt Navratri comes twice a year. Ashadh Gupt Navratri has started from today. These are considered important for seekers, worshipers of Tantra-Mantra and Shakti Sadhana. It is believed that during these nine days, secret worship of the forms of Maa Durga is done, through which special achievements are achieved.
According to Drik Panchang, Pratipada Tithi has started at 03:12 pm on July 14 and will end at 11:50 am today. The first fast of Navratri is being observed on Oriya Tithi.

What is the religious significance of Gupt Navratri?
According to the scriptures, Navratri fasts are observed four times a year. Among these, devotees observe the fast of Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri publicly, whereas the Navratri of Magh and Ashadh is called Gupt Navratri. It is believed that during Gupt Navratri, Mother Adishakti is worshiped for nine days and the person observing the fast gets mental strength, self-confidence and freedom from the obstacles of life. Many seekers have also been worshiping the ten Mahavidyas during this period.
Are these forms of mother worshipped?
Devotees of Maa Durga worship Kali, Tara, Tripurasundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhairavi, Chhinnamasta, Dhumavati, Baglamukhi, Matangi and Kamala during Gupt Navratri.
Gupta Navratri Ghatasthapana
According to Drik Panchang, just as worship is done with rituals and rites during Sharadiya Navratri, the same is followed on the occasion of Ashadha Gupt Navratri. Ghatasthapana is an invocation of Goddess Shakti and our scriptures warn that doing Ghatasthapana at inappropriate time can lead to wrath of Goddess Shakti. Ghatasthapana is prohibited during Amavasya and night time. Ghatasthapana Muhurat in Gupt Navratri is from 5.33 am to 10.09 am.

- To plant Sapta Dhanya, take a wide and open earthen pot.
- Take clean soil to plant Sapta Dhanya.
- Take seven grains or seven different types of grain seeds.
- Take a small sized brass and clay pot.
- Take pure water and Ganga water to fill the urn.
- Keep sacred sutra, mauli and kalava
- keep perfume
- keep betel nut
- put a coin to put in the urn
- Take five leaves of Ashoka tree or mango.
- Take the lid of a vessel to cover the Kalash.
- Take Akshat to keep in the upper container of the Kalash.
- Take unpeeled coconut.
- Take a red cloth to wrap it around the coconut.
- Keep flowers.
- Keep Durva grass.
