As the journey of Punjab Kings came to an end in IPL 2026, the season also ended for Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep Singh was a part of Punjab Kings, who remained in the headlines for his girlfriend during IPL 2026. But, now he has come into limelight for deleting more than 200 posts from his Instagram. Not only this, he has also changed his DP i.e. display picture. Apart from the viral post on Virat Kohli, some posts related to Punjab Kings were also included in the posts which Arshdeep Singh deleted.
What could be the reason for deleting the post?
Left arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh did the work of cleaning his Instagram on the night of 25th May. However, no statement has come from Arshdeep Singh regarding the reason behind this. By not saying anything in this matter, he has kept the fans in suspense. Fans are speculating whether the matter is personal or there is a bigger reason behind it.
More than 200 posts deleted, Virat’s post also missing
Arshdeep Singh deleted more than 200 posts. Whereas now the number of posts on his Instagram is just 40. The posts he deleted also included the reel he made with Virat Kohli during the Champions Trophy 2025. Which had crossed the figure of 150 million views. Regarding posts related to Punjab Kings, it is being said that he has deleted some of them. Some posts are still left on his Instagram.
There was a lot of criticism on social media
In the last few weeks, Arshdeep Singh has also had to become a victim of trolling on social media. Earlier this month, a video of him with Tilak Verma had gone viral, for which he was criticized. In that viral video, he was saying to Arshdeep – “Yeh Adhere, will you apply sunscreen?” After saying this to Tilak, former Indian cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan strongly condemned Arshdeep and also demanded his suspension from IPL.
Arshdeep’s performance in IPL 2026
Talking about the performance of Arshdeep Singh in IPL 2026, he took 14 wickets for 541 runs in 14 matches. During this period his economy has been 10.21. Arshdeep was so expensive this season that the number of runs spent by him was more than that of Prabhsimran Singh, the highest run scorer for Punjab Kings.
