Arshad Warsi is one of the finest actors in Bollywood and rose to fame after playing the role of Circuit in Munna Bhai MBBS. The actor, who is set to make the audiences laugh once again in the upcoming films Welcome To The Jungle and Jolly LLB 3 , shared his take on stardom in Bollywood.
Arshad Warsi: It’s created and manufactured stuff
In a recent interview, Arshad Warsi was asked about the change in stardom, he opened and said, “”Unfortunately, stardom today is become (a) manufactured product, it is not real anymore. It’s an illusion. It’s a created and manufactured stuff. Stardom for me is Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan . These are stars and they have stardom. They don’t need social media for anybody to know that these people are stars – I think that is stardom, not the followers you have or the followers you brought.”

There is no content to it, there is no solid talent to it. I admire what they do, but unfortunately, it’s not long-lasting. The only thing that lasts long is your talent and what you really have – honest hard work and honest talent. Rest everything that is manufactured, doesn’t last long, there is no longevity. So it has no value for me.”
When Arshad Warsi shared his opinion on hefty salaries being paid to actors
In a conversation with Samdish Bhatia on his YouTube channel, was asked if he has a problem with the pay scale in the Hindi film industry. He said, “Mujhe lagta hai itna zyada jo mil raha hai nahin milna chahiye, problem wo hai. Mujhe lag raha hai pay scale itna ooncha ho gaya hai ki it has put a line between A and B.”
