Singer Arijit Singh has reunited with composer Rochak Kohli, lyricist Kumaar and filmmaker Luv Ranjan for ‘Purane Din’, a new song from the upcoming drama ‘Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar’, following their collaboration on the popular track ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’.
Composed by Rochak Kohli and penned by Kumaar, ‘Purane Din’ explores the emotions of friendship, first love and cherished memories of college life. Speaking about the track, Kohli said he was grateful for the continued appreciation of ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ and welcomed the opportunity to reunite with Singh, Kumaar and Ranjan. He said the team sought to capture the universal innocence of first love through a composition that feels both familiar and fresh.
Kumaar said the two songs share an emotional connection rooted in friendship and memories of growing up. He explained that the lyrics of ‘Purane Din’ aim to recreate the innocence of college life, when friendships, first crushes and seemingly small moments carried deep meaning.
The song is now available on T-Series Music.
Presented by Luv Films and jointly produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, ‘Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 23, 2026.
