Chief Secretary in Delhi Government, Naresh Kumar has issued a statement on the preliminary investigation report of Vigilance Minister Atishi. While issuing the statement on Tuesday, Naresh Kumar has also asked many sharp questions. He asked whether anyone had read the minister’s 650-page report? He said that if the copy of the report has not been shared then on what basis will anyone respond or report on it.
On behalf of Naresh Kumar, it has been said that he joined as Chief Secretary in 2022. If land owners had purchased land at only 7 per cent of the market rate in 2015, then what have the Chief Minister, Revenue Minister and Vigilance Minister and other concerned officials done so far?

He said, the Government of India has already ordered a CBI inquiry against Hemant Kumar. If anyone has this report then they should send it to CBI so that the truth can come out. Are Hemant Kumar’s political masters and other people with vested interests engaged in a cover-up to save him? Are they afraid that Hemant Kumar will reveal the truth to CBI?
‘Conspiracy to defame should also be investigated by CBI and ED’
The Chief Secretary has said that the conspiracy to defame him due to vested interests should also be investigated by CBI and ED. Along with this, he has also appealed to the media not to publish anything without facts and evidence. Actually, Naresh Kumar is accused of giving a benefit of Rs 315 crore to his son by rigging the land acquisition.
CM has sent complaint to Vigilance Minister
It is said that CM Kejriwal had received a complaint in this regard and sent it to Minister Atishi, who is handling the Vigilance Department. After which Atishi had instructed the departments not to send any file to the Chief Secretary until the investigation was completed.
