Anupam Kher mistook an obese co-passenger on a flight who actually brought chocolates for the cabin crew. Kher admitted his mistake and said that he had learned the lesson of not judging anyone externally. He shared this experience on Instagram.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher is one of the most favorite actors of Bollywood. Apart from his brilliant acting, he often shares his life experiences and lessons with his fans. Her Instagram account is full of beautiful posts on life, lessons and values. Once again, he shared an adorable selfie with one of his co-passengers on Instagram and talked about learning an important lesson.
Anupam Kher admits his mistake after misunderstanding a co-passenger
Yes, you read it right. Kher openly confessed that he had mistaken an obese passenger for his eating habits. But when he learned the truth, he recognized how wrong he was. Sharing a picture with passenger David, Kher wrote, “David, thank you for this lesson! Life is full of lessons. Last week, on a flight from Goa to Mumbai, I learned a lesson. David is in the picture. When David boarded the flight, many people looked at him because he was overweight. He came and sat in the row next to me.”
He further wrote, “Midway through the flight, he opened his bag, took out a large collection of chocolates and sweets and then headed to the washroom. I made eye contact with the gentleman sitting next to him and said, ‘He shouldn’t be eating so many sweets and chocolates!’ This was said in concern! The gentleman smiled and replied, ‘Well, maybe that’s why they look like that.’ After a while, David came back, collected all the sweets and handed them over to the cabin crew. I was shocked. So I told him, ‘To be honest, I thought you were going to eat all this chocolate by yourself, and that’s why you’re overweight.'”
David replied with a smile, “I don’t blame you for thinking that! I have a medical problem. But I used to work for airlines, and I know how much cabin crew members go through every day. So I like to bring them something sweet whenever I travel.” What a wonderful person.”
Kher concluded his post by writing, “And what a lesson for me. How quickly we judge people. How easily we make up stories about them without knowing anything about their lives. David, thank you for the reminder that kindness often lies behind appearances, and that the best people are sometimes the ones we understand the least. I asked him for a photo! He agreed! For the lesson. Thank you my friend.”
