Anaswara Rajan needs no introduction to Telugu audiences. The Malayalam actress from Kerala has already made a name for herself in Tollywood. Despite being in early twenties, she has established herself as a popular young actress in Malayalam cinema.
Now, she is increasingly focusing on Telugu films. After starring opposite young actor Roshan Meka in “Champion”, Anaswara is playing Chiranjeevi’s daughter in “Kaka”, in which she has a prominent role.
Even before “Kaka” hits theatres, another Telugu film featuring her as the female lead is set to release on November 13. Titled “Itllu Arjuna”, the film stars newcomer Aniesh as the male lead and is presented by Nagarjuna.
Besides these two films, Anaswara has two more Telugu projects in the pipeline. She is paired opposite Sangeeth Shobhan in “Antha Ramuloru Chusukuntaru”. She has also joined the cast of Ravi Teja’s recently launched film “Thulabharam”, in which she plays the second female lead.
With four Telugu films keeping her busy, Anaswara appears to be betting big on Tollywood. The opportunities and the prospects of building a stronger career here seem to have encouraged her to focus more on Telugu cinema.
As a result, she is reportedly taking up fewer Malayalam projects, with Telugu films now becoming her priority.
